About Oakley Hall Hotel, Hampshire
Our story
Oakley Hall dates back to 1795 and has links to the celebrated novelist Jane Austen who lived in the nearby village of Steventon. Over the years, the Georgian manor house has been used as a boarding school and solely as a wedding and conference venue. However, in 2014, a major £4 million restoration project saw Oakley Hall restored to the magnificent country house hotel you see today. In 2018, our newest event space, the Garden Pavilion, was built, and in 2020, our Glasshouse Restaurant was renovated.
With 50 bedrooms, a two AA Rosette restaurant, and acres of beautiful grounds to explore, Oakley Hall Hotel is perfect for everything from romantic weekends away to first-class conferences. And with one of the largest event spaces in Hampshire, it's easy to see why we've become known as one of the best wedding venues in the area.
