According to the Bridebook Wedding Report, country house and hotel wedding venues make up a combined percentage of 34% of venues booked in 2024 (based on approximately 3,000 couples who took the survey). That’s a third of all couples who have booked their venues! And although we may be bias, we can’t say we blame them. Oakley Hall is the perfect combination of both country house and hotel. Oakley Hall is home to over 300 acres of private grounds, ranging from immaculate gardens and magical woodlands to wide open fields and farmland – so you will never be short of space or variety when it comes to capturing your moments. Exclusive use of a wedding venue grants you access to all spaces with the luxury of only having your guests at the property. The 315 acres of private grounds offers complete tranquillity from any other home, hotel or property whilst providing you and your guests with the space to celebrate in style. The selection of spaces and rooms at Oakley Hall allows your celebrations to be entirely spread out, whether it be with a football table in one room and a dedicated DJ + dance floor in the other! And for later on in the evening, you can socialise with a glass in hand admiring the breathtaking sunsets, and even cosy up under patio heaters wrapped in blankets during the evening, all whilst enjoying the exclusive views of our gardens and surrounding scenery.
Asian Weddings
Our large capacity Garden Pavilion and wide open grounds make Oakley Hall the ideal wedding venue for Dry Hire and Asian Weddings. Seating up to 400 guests for a seated meal, the Garden Pavilion features its very own private kitchen allowing your preferred caterers to do what they do best in their own space. Whilst the height of the pavilion permits ceremonies with mandaps in all shapes & sizes, the double doors allow plenty of natural light to flood into the space and provide guests with direct access to the Garden Pavilion terrace and grounds.
Dry Hire weddings can be booked either with our Asian Wedding Package or on an exclusive use basis. Depending on the requirements of you and your guests we can tailor our wedding packages to suit you.
Weekend Packages
For many couples, one day just isn’t enough to celebrate their nuptials! Weekend weddings are becoming more and more popular (one of the biggest wedding trends on the rise) so couples can spread out the celebrations across multiple days, which avoids the stress of trying to fit everything into one day. Whether it be a private dinner with your closest friends and family the night before the big day, or a relaxed BBQ garden party the day after, make the most of the vast celebration options Oakley Hall has to offer for your wedding weekend.
Weekend Wedding Stays
Weddings which are spread across two or three days are ideal for those who are travelling far from within the UK and even abroad. At Oakley Hall, guests have the choice from 50 bedrooms or suites to stay in all of which feature en-suites, smart screen televisions and complimentary WiFi – so you can relax the night before and the night after the wedding party.
Weekend Reception Trends in 2024
With over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry, it come as no surprise to us that the average number of guests per wedding is consistently increasing, which according to Bridebook the wedding trend is an increase of 17% since 2021. Whilst Oakley Hall is home to a selection of beautifully delicate wedding spaces ideal for intimate celebrations, our property is also home to two unique large capacity rooms which are perfect to host bigger receptions.
The Garden Suite is one of our ground floor Main House spaces, with beautiful views of our gardens and double doors leading to the Garden Terrace. With a maximum capacity of 120 guests, this breathtaking room retains a number of Georgian interior features from the original manor including grand fireplaces and ornamental ceiling mouldings. And for the evening, there’s even space for a dance floor & DJ, and an interconnecting door that leads to the Library.

Built in 2018, the modern permanent structure is fully equipped with LED colour changing lights, a private bar and a Garden Terrace adorned with fairy lights – making the most magical setting for evening celebrations with your loved ones.
